I’ve always found viral marketing interesting, as companies will tease consumers sometimes for months at a time, giving them bits and pieces of a movie, tv show, or something else in order to stimulate their interest. This blog shows examples of these by companies.

The web is filled with diversions – in a sense, that’s what it boils down to a lot of the time. And finding the best of these diversions is something that I find interesting and would like to follow. Creativity-

Maybe the most effective example of viral marketing are viral videos. They can show an interesting snippet to really incite interest in viewers and the video URL can easily be posted on people’s blogs or even embedded in their website, spreading across the internet like a virus (but not in a bad way).

Theinspirationroom.com attempts to do what its URL says – inspire.  Ad campaigns can make or break a product and are essential in the success of a product. As an art minor, I’m interested in how ads are presented visually to consumers, as there are many ways to make an ad eye-catching.

Hackers have become so skilled that I can’t even wrap my mind around some of the things that they do. I find it interesting how they can find work-arounds to compatibility problems or to enable a feature that a company blocks from its users. Hacking is not slowing down anytime soon, and reading about some of these and how they evolve into the future sounds interesting.

This is a great exercise in adding image to text so that you can relate them to one another. Also it is useful to have a flickr account to find images that you may want to post on your blog.

Just in case anyone missed the Super Bowl this year, here are some of the highlights :

CIT 335 Intro

Today we are creating blogs for CIT 335 class at Pace University. This is my initial blog and we will continue to make more throughout this semester. I'll be graduating this year with a B.S. degree in IT and a minor in Art, so this will be a busy semester.

One thing to look forward to : The Walking Dead comes back this week!
